Overview

Our mission is to develop a rich client software, as an open source software (OSS), that is distributed to the public community. Utilizing our technology, we will develop a new business model in cooperating closely with our other divisions. Furthermore, with an effort to support and strengthen NEC group's solution, we share and spread our technology, knowledge and current trend of OSS to NEC group.

Currently, our project, that is called JALCEDO, joins an open source community at Sourceforge.net. JALCEDO is development environment for a Java based rich client. It launches as an Eclipse plug-in, interacts with various other projects of Eclipse, and builds a rich client application. Our project, JALCEDO, is on-going now. Our goal is to provide an opportunity to easily develop an advanced rich client application under the environment that provides the Database management tool, the visual programming interface, and numerous runtime libraries.
