SYUWA BENKYOUKAI

In 1996 NEC Soft created a web page called "SYUWA BENKYOUKAI" introducing dactylology. The web page carries illustrations of commonly used hand signs and exercises with which visitors to the page are given opportunities to experience the fun of communication via by hand signs. The site has also become a place for individuals interested in dactylology to exchange ideas.

Workplace blood donation drives

Each year, NEC Soft holds a "workplace blood donation drive" with the cooperation of employees. The Company makes earnest commitment to blood donation drives that are held not only at the Company headquarters, but also at offices at other locations in cooperation with tenants in the same buildings.
Collection activities

Throughout the year, all company employees from directors on down are involved in collection drives to "collect foreign coins, used stamps, used pre-paid cards, and postcards with writing errors," all of which are donated to organizations such as the Japan Overseas Christian Medical Cooperative Service. During November of each year in particular, the Company holds a month-long enhanced collection campaign linked to "NEC Make a Difference Day," a volunteer activity in which all of the employees of the NEC Group around the world participate. In addition, during the same period employees collect materials such as relief items and calendars, which are delivered to various locations as necessary.
Purchases of UNESCO cards

In 2001, NEC Soft started to purchase greetings cards from the National Federation of UNESCO Association in Japan (NFUAJ) for season's greetings to overseas. With this, NEC Soft indirectly contributes to the educational and cultural activities conducted by NFUAJ.
