Providing information on volunteer activities
In January 2002, NEC Soft set up a web page for social contribution activities for in-house use, which employees use to share information regarding the Company's social contribution activities. Information concerning employees' volunteer activities is updated monthly.
Providing volunteer opportunities
NEC Soft offers its employees opportunities for volunteer efforts that are linked with the Company's social contribution activities. For example, employees can serve as volunteer lecturers for the "NEC Kids Internet Safety School." The Company also provides volunteer programs, such as "Picture Book Delivery Service," which facilitate employees' volunteer activities.
Clover vacation system
NEC Soft has set up a paid vacation system that can be utilized for various objectives such as rest for illness prevention, family member nursing care, volunteer activities, and participation in school events. Like a four-leaf clover, a symbol of good luck, this program is a "leave system for the community" that brings employees, families and the community into a single entity. Employees are granted five days per year for the program, and can accumulate up to 20 unused days for future purposes.
